Michael Zapata

Zapata established Greenshoe Consulting in 2022, with the goal of improving discourse and analysis at promising new ventures, and by their potential stakeholders. He started it after more than 25 years’ experience, having underwritten securities and arranged leveraged loans; and provided financial advisory to corporate and startup clients. He has managed securities issues, loan syndications, mergers and acquisitions, and advised clients on strategic financial alternatives, deal structuring, capital raising options, and investor search strategy.

Greenshoe helps companies identify their most promising revenue drivers, build on competitive advantages, craft a compelling investment rationale, and find investors best matched to their investment story.
